Being a student of “Principles of
Marketing” I really think that it is not a good idea of the ZonG cellular
company for selling of 4G SIM cards to target the people who are waiting outside
the Alamgir Welfare Hospital for their turns for checkup. It will be just a
wastage of money and time. Because people who are in queue for their turn do
not have time and patience to hear the sales personnel’s.They will be in a
stress and grief situation for checkup of theirpatients. Therefore, they will
not pay any heed to listen the direct sales personnel’s and to buy G SIM cards
from the ZonG stall. No doubt direct selling has its numerous merits of strong
customer relationship, coordination with other business strategies, cost and
price control and access to more customers. With a numerous advantages direct
selling also has some demerits as well which are i.e. expensive, time
consuming, limited coverage, inconvenient or obtrusive. Therefore, selling 4G
SIM cards at this when people are in waiting line will be inconvenient for the
patients and their attendants that is why it will be just wastage of time and
money for the ZonG 4G cellular company if it launch a staff outside the Alamgir
Welfare Hospital.
